Emily 2 1/2 years

I cannot believe that I have a 2 1/2 year old!  It is amazing the difference between an 18 month old and a 2 year old, and even a 2 year old and a 2 1/2 year old!  It seems like Emily has learned so much in the past couple months!  She learns new words everyday and hearing some words come out a a two year olds mouth makes me watch what I say a lot more! (I never use bad language, but hearing certain words like 'dang i't or 'crap' just doesn't sound right coming from someone so young!)  Emily can be the sweetest little girl on earth or she can be really nasty- there is no in between! ( I think she might get that from me :) Emily brings so much joy and laughter into our lives and it's hard to remember life without her!

Emily at 2 1/2:

-She calls curtains, covers
-She gets sprinkles and sparkles confused
- When asked what a rooster says she says "Talk a Roodle Doo"
-Loves to play outside
-Can always make Jackson smile and laugh! (my favorite to watch!)
-Loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Peter Pan
-Her favorite Princess is Cinderella
-Absolutely HATES to sleep! She can wake up early, have no nap and then at bedtime, while yawning and rubbing her eyes, she always tells me that she is not tired and she does not want to go to sleep. She does NOT get that from me!
-She is still not sleeping through the night :(
-She is fully potty trained!!! We are going on a month with no night time accidents!!
-She still gets jealous whenever someone holds Jackson
-Loves paint, color, and play doh
-Always says please, and thank you, no thank you
-Whenever she sees letters she calls them ABC's
-Loves chapstick

I love this little girl and all of her cheesy smiles!!!
