Last Monday Emily wouldn't go down for an afternoon nap, so I needed something that would keep her entertained until bedtime- so we made a fort! Emily loved looking at it- from the outside! She didn't like it on the inside. I even put monkey and Eeyore in there with some of her books, but she wanted nothing to do with it. But every time she saw it she would get so excited and point and say "you see? you see?"
Then we had Top Roman for dinner and I showed her how to slurp her noodles and we made a huge mess- but it was totally worth it!
Then Jonathan came home and we got to snuggle together until bedtime!
All in all it was a pretty good day!
